Position: Golf Services Executive

Department: Administration & Golf

Responsible To: Golf Operations Manager

Purpose and Scope of Position:

To assist with frontline operations, ensuring smooth administrative processes and providing excellent service to members and prospective members.

Job Description:

The Golf Services Executive will support the Membership Services & Golf Operations department by assisting with daily operations, member communications, and event coordination to ensure the highest standard of service.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Reports to the Golf Operations Manager.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining a club atmosphere that enhances the club&aposs image and positively distinguishes it from competitors.
  • Prepare and communicate regular updates regarding membership programs, activities, and campaigns to members.
  • Oversee the execution of tour techniques for prospective members, ensuring the tour is tailored to showcase their needs and preferences.
  • Ensure timely responses to prospective members via mail and phone, providing necessary information about membership and services.
  • Record feedback from new and prospective members regarding the facilities and programs, ensuring necessary changes or improvements are made.
  • Develop a complete understanding of membership classifications, fees, programs, club policies, rules, and guidelines to answer inquiries effectively.
  • Develop and enhance the new member welcome package to facilitate smooth onboarding.
  • Assist new members in familiarizing themselves with the club, staff, and available privileges.
  • Manage the communication and execution of the membership renewal process.
  • Stay updated on competitive clubs, including their services, pricing, and membership programs.
  • Assist in planning and executing social activities, new member evenings, and club nights.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operation of membership and golf services.
  • Act as the point of contact for all queries related to members accounts, ensuring prompt resolution of issues.
  • Assist in organizing and coordinating golf events, prize-givings, and press releases.
  • Assist with corporate golf days as directed by the Director of Golf (DOG).
  • Work in golf operations, such as starter, marshal, or range duties, as required.
  • Ensure service levels are met in membership and golf operations, monitoring club results.
  • Assist with volunteer programs for club tournaments.
  • Support the club reception team as needed.
  • Participate in the duty manager roster as required.
Communication Responsibilities:
  • Submit weekly reports for management meetings.
  • Take minutes of the Membership Communication Committee (MCC) meetings.
  • Prepare membership feedback reports.
  • Provide reports on night golf finance and promotions.
  • Continuously monitor and update the members zone to ensure information accuracy.
  • Coordinate with private taxi operators to ensure timely and efficient transportation services.
