Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on golf carts and related equipment to ensure safety and functionality.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues using schematics, electrical diagnostics, and equipment troubleshooting techniques.
- Conduct repairs on engines, electrical systems, small engines, and mechanical components utilizing hand tools and power tools.
- Assist with diesel engine repairs, generator repairs, and power generation systems maintenance as needed.
- Support heavy lifting tasks and manual handling of equipment parts during repairs or maintenance activities.
- Maintain accurate records of service work performed, parts used, and maintenance schedules.
- Collaborate with team members to identify repair needs promptly and ensure efficient workflow.
- Dealership experience or service technician experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is essential.
- Basic mechanical knowledge with an understanding of electrical work, schematics, and electrical diagnostics.
- Familiarity with automotive repair principles, small engine maintenance, and equipment troubleshooting is a plus.
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment safely and effectively.
- Strong manual handling skills with the ability to lift heavy objects safely.
- Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
- Willingness to develop expertise in vehicle maintenance, mechanical systems repair, engine repair, and Caterpillar equipment (if applicable).
