About the Role
As Assistant Superintendent, you’ll work closely with the Golf Course Superintendent to lead day-to-day operations and deliver exceptional playing conditions year-round.
You’ll play a key role in:
Maintaining elite presentation standards across greens, tees, fairways and bunkers
Planning and executing agronomic programs (fertiliser, aeration, pest & disease management)
Leading, mentoring and coordinating the maintenance team
Managing irrigation systems (Rain Bird) and water use efficiency
Overseeing machinery operation and maintenance
Contributing to seasonal planning and continuous course improvement
Supporting the delivery of major capital works projects

We’re looking for someone who brings both technical expertise and leadership capability:
Minimum 5 years’ experience in golf course or sports turf management
Formal qualification in Sports Turf Management (Cert III, IV or Diploma)
Strong knowledge of warm-season turf management
Experience with irrigation systems (preferably Rain Bird) and agronomic planning
Proven ability to lead and motivate a team
High attention to detail and pride in course presentation
