ABOUT THE KIDS GOLF FOUNDATION

The Kids Golf Foundation of Illinois (KGF) was established in 1998 with a mission to bring the sport of golf into the lives of children and provide them with opportunities for personal growth and career enhancement. Since its inception, KGF has introduced more than 250,000 children to the game through program and events throughout Illinois.

KGF partners with schools, park districts, community organizations, golf courses, youth organizations, and other groups to make golf accessible to children of all backgrounds and experience levels. In addition to teaching the fundamentals of the game, KGF programs use golf as a tool to introduce important life skills such as respect, sportsmanship, etiquette, and more.

ABOUT THE GOLF FORE SCHOOLS PROGRAM

The Golf FORE Schools Program brings golf instruction directly into school physical education classes. Designed for students in 3rd-5th grade, the program introduces the fundamentals of putting, chipping, and full swing through structured lessons and interactive activities using SNAG Golf equipment. Each lesson provides students of all abilities and experience levels with the opportunity to learn the game in a fun and familiar school setting.

Through golf, students are encouraged to try new skills, build confidence, practice positive life skills, and discover a sport they can enjoy for a lifetime.
