Job Purpose

X-Golf Clyde North is looking for an energetic and enthusiastic assistant to help coordinate and drive promotional activities and events both in store and throughout the local area. Regular meetings, marketing activities, and on line communications will be required to drive business and will be measured as key performance initiatives.

The key purpose of the role will be to work as an assistant to the manager driving store performance and operational activities throughout the X-Golf Clyde North location. The assistant will have the ability to coordinate, promote, and market X-Golf Clyde North while assisting in the structure, promotion, and business development of activities labelled the key drivers of the X-Golf franchise framework.
RELATIONSHIPPURPOSE


Manager
To directly report to the Manager to ensure that all store responsibilities are met, meetings are held, promotions organised, and upcoming events coordinated




X-Golf Staff
To maintain clear communication lines in order to fulfil the responsibilities of the store and delegate tasks to ensure activities are completed and promotional efforts are maintained alongside operational requirements


Members and Customers
To provide the highest standards of service to ensure a pleasurable experience in the store and introduce customers to the products on offer throughout the X-Golf business model.
KEY PERFORMANCE MEASURES

The focal point of the role will be to assist the operations manager in developing the awareness, activity, and revenue driven from the X-Golf business model. Key products include:
  • X-League and Competitions
  • X-Golf Memberships
  • X-Golf Lessons and PGA Tuition
  • X-Golf Events (Corporate, Social, and Bucks Events)
  • Junior Interaction ( Clinics and Birthday Parties)
  • Casual Play
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES (BUT NOT LIMITED TO):
Key Responsibility Performance Measure


Customer Service

Maintain a high level of customer service from greeting, set-up, general attentiveness, payment and the farewell of each customer. Introducing customers to new products as a matter of procedure.





No customer complaints and observations of poor service noted by the Manager. All customer interactions are targeted at obtaining details for further communications and sales of products.



Events

To attract; organise; deliver and evaluate (not limited to) corporate events, bachelor parties; sporting club functions;

To develop innovative products / initiatives in order to attract functions from new markets.





Monthly KPI goals will be implemented and evaluated by the X-Golf Group and the Operations Manager. KPI’s not met will be discussed and supported at regular team meetings.



Kiosk Presentation

Ensure the store is clean and professionally presented at all times following X-Golf and Hey Caddy procedures





Observations based on store presentation checklists as examined by the Manager



Team Meetings and Structure

Coordinate and chair team meetings in conjunction with the operations manager to ensure that weekly and monthly goals are set and achieved as a team.





Team meeting minutes to be sent to operations manager, owners, and X-Golf Support team members



Store Maintenance

Having the ability to identify and repair common difficulties with the simulators in a timely manner.

To communicate with the major issues with the Technical support team





Simulators repaired to working condition.



Feedback from the Technical Support team.



Telephone Answering

Ensure that phones are answered in a prompt and friendly manner. Customer requests are promptly executed and that customers are informed of any delays.





Telephones answered on or before the 3rd ring. No customer complaints and all enquiries met and responded to in a timely manner. (Phone within 1 hour - Email and social media within 24 hours).



EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
  • Have a valid RSA and WWC
  • Prior Assistant Manager experience (min 2 years)
  • Demonstrated people management experience (min 2 years)
  • Demonstrated experience with staffing and rostering
  • Experience with POS and booking systems preferable
  • Experience with event management and hospitality desirable
Opening - EARLY JULY - Training to commence Mid/Late June
