Job Description:
The Vendor Fitter will be responsible for overseeing and executing an exceptional consumer shopping experience with a "Sure No Problem" philosophy and culture. They are also responsible for maximizing sales by conducting custom golf equipment fittings and ensuring the visibility and quality of the vendor's equipment and products. Job Description:
The Vendor Fitter will be responsible for overseeing and executing an exceptional consumer shopping experience with a "Sure No Problem" philosophy and culture. They are also responsible for maximizing sales by conducting custom golf equipment fittings and ensuring the visibility and quality of the vendor's equipment and products. The Vendor Fitter will need to provide creative solutions to ensure exceptional customer service to satisfy the consumer's shopping experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain a high level of product and fitting knowledge to recommend the correct vendor products to the consumer.
- Maintain an awareness of all golf vendors' products, equipment, fitting methods, and technologies.
- Manage their own vendor's fitting schedule and execute fitting appointments within the Worldwide Golf Shops location.
- Maintain a high level of product and fitting knowledge to recommend the appropriate vendor products to the consumer.
- Assist and collaborate with other vendor fitters and Worldwide Golf Shops associates in regard to service calls, floor moves, merchandising, and sales floor cleanliness to meet Worldwide Golf Shops' standards.
- Create brand awareness focused on sales growth of the vendor's consumable products.
- Performs any other duties as assigned by the Worldwide Golf Shops' management team.
- Must maintain a positive consumer-centric attitude by understanding and supporting the customer's needs while being committed to the "Sure No Problem" philosophy and culture.
- Must be able to keep current with club equipment trends while utilizing and comprehending launch monitor data. (This includes anything related to club fitting metrics of swing speeds, ball speeds, launch angles, spin rates, decent angles, carry distances, total distances, and dispersion patterns)
- Needs to have a comprehensive ability to process information when utilizing the P.O.S. register system, as well as having the capability to operate current and new computer systems and their respective software platforms.
- Must have a strong and sincere passion for the vendor's brands and products.
- Needs to be a continuous professional and represent the brand in a positive manner and appearance.
- Needs to be friendly, outgoing, and enthusiastic while possessing a high comfort level in engaging with consumers.
- Must have strong organizational skills and be very dependable with the proven ability to manage multiple tasks and handle competing priorities each day.
- Must be empathetic and respectful to both the consumer's wants and needs.
- Needs to possess a strong level of written and verbal communication skills.
- Must apply good judgment when interacting with customers, fellow associates, and management when regarding comparisons of various vendor equipment and products.
- Must be capable of accessing all areas of the store including the sales floor, stock area, and register area by standing, walking, stooping, crawling, climbing, crouching, and kneeling. They must also have the ability to lift and/or move up to 35 pounds at any given time.
- Must have a flexible schedule in days available and hours available for any given work schedule. This can/may include evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- 1 year of golf related experience.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Must have golf industry, golf retail, and/or golf customer service experience.
