*Since 2005, TireMax Powersports *has prided itself on offering superior service and selection at competitive prices. Our 10,000+ square foot showroom and service facility enables us to offer our customers a full range of unique products including personal-use golf carts, LSV’s, go-karts, scooters and UTV/ATV’s. *OVERVIEW:* We seek a Powersports Service Technician. Your primary tasks will be the repair of powersport products brought to our shop for service. Secondary tasks may include parts ordering, shop maintenance and other duties as assigned by management. The right candidate will enjoy a high level of freedom, room for advancement and a financial package that will reward your efforts and effectiveness. The drive to exceed goals is a must! The ideal candidate has excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, mechanical aptitude, an eagerness to learn and is able to multitask in a fun, fast-paced environment. Previous professional repair experience is preferred however you will learn the nuances of our product lines on the job. Shop hours are Tuesday through Friday 9:00 am – 6:00 pm and Saturday 10:00 am – 4:00 pm. *Qualifications:* * Mechanical aptitude and interest. * Previous experience as a professional mechanic strongly preferred. * Computer literacy strongly preferred. * Enjoy working with people. * Ability to positively interact with customers with superior customer service and communication skills. * Willingness to work in a team environment. * Must be able to lift at least 25 pounds and be able-bodied to stand on feet interacting with customers as needed. * Valid driver license. * Experience towing a small trailer preferred.
