Responsibilities:
- Install, repair, and maintain irrigation systems for residential and commercial properties
- Dig trenches and install irrigation pipes and sprinkler heads
- Build and assemble irrigation components, such as valves, controllers, and timers
- Perform regular inspections to identify leaks, clogs, or other issues with the irrigation system
- Adjust sprinkler heads to ensure proper water distribution
- Program and troubleshoot irrigation controllers
- Monitor weather conditions and adjust irrigation schedules accordingly
- Collaborate with landscaping teams to ensure proper water management for plants and lawns
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in irrigation installation and maintenance preferred
- Knowledge of hand tools and power tools used in irrigation work
- Familiarity with landscape maintenance practices and lawn care techniques
- Mechanical knowledge to diagnose and repair issues with irrigation systems
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
