The appointment of Golf Services Management, by Cardinia Shire Council, as the venue manager of the Pakenham Golf Course at Deep Creek has opened an exciting opportunity for a PGA teaching professional to join Golf Services Management.
The Role :
As a Golf Professional, you will play a pivotal role in helping our customers enhance their golf skills and enjoyment of the game.
You will provide professional golf coaching, and guidance tailored to individual needs, fostering a positive and productive learning environment.
Shop hours are also available while the golf professional builds their clientele.
Responsibilities will include :
Experience within a similar role will be highly regarded but full training will be provided. You will have :

- Deliver private golf lessons to players of all ages and skill levels.
- Deliver golf clinics for juniors, women and beginners and all skill levels.
- Stay updated on the latest golf teaching techniques and industry trends.
- Provide exceptional customer service and maintain a professional appearance.
- Assist with club fittings and equipment recommendations when necessary.
- Providing high levels of customer service;
Experience within a similar role will be highly regarded but full training will be provided. You will have :
- Passion for growing the game of golf and helping others
- Current certified PGA Member (preferably advanced status in Coaching)
- Strong verbal communication skills, with the ability to provide quality service to a diverse range of customers;
- Proactive and energetic nature;
- Able to work flexible hours including weekends
- Punctual and reliable
- Committed to ongoing development
- Must have a current Working With Children’s Check
