We have a new exciting role at X Golf Toowoomba, we are looking for an enthusiastic candidate for the role of 2IC & Marketing & Events Coordinator.

In the role you will be required to assist the venue manager with the running of the business in a 2IC role. In your role you will be required to set a marketing plan for the business as well as the organising of X League and attracting and organising of functions and events such as Xmas Parties, Bucks & Hens parties as well as corporate events.

Your tasks and responsibilities will include:

• Delivering a high standard of customer experience.
• Assist Venue Manager in implementing staff policies and procedures.
• Manage X-League competitions and customer communications.
• Hosting events - attract, organise and deliver corporate events, bucks/hens, parties and sporting club functions.
• Understanding of simulator maintenance.
• Drive social media engagement through timely posting of activity and responses to customers questions or comments.

We are looking for someone with:

• At least one year of hospitality experience
• Understanding and enthusiasm for golf
• Availability for weekends as per the roster
• Current RSA
• Great teamwork skills
• The ability to work independently
• Excellent customer and supplier interpersonal skills
• Basic computer/technology/word processing skills
• Understanding and experience in Food Safety

Nice to have, but not required:

• Experience in customer communications
• Understanding of Golf
• Local connections
