Job Summary

- Shift & Schedule Availability: Full Time, Summer Seasonal
Job Responsibilities
- Supervise outside services and player assistant staff. Maintain accurate payroll records, recruit, hire, train, and schedule, motivate staff. Coach, and discipline staff when necessary.
- Complete and deliver end of season reviews and assure reviews are recorded for all applicable staff
- Works with the Head Professional on financial and operational performance of the golf shop operations and golf services
- Works with the Head Professional in the development and preparation of budgets, including forecasting and review of all golf operations revenues and expenses on a daily, weekly, monthly, and annual basis
- Ensure systems controls are in place to safeguard assets, revenues, and resources
- Track and verify all players and guests, green fees, golf cars, club care, lockers, handicap fees, and other charges necessary, and facilitate accurate accounting and recordkeeping
- Assist merchandise manager with retail merchandise concession in step with the mission of the golf operation and facility
- Assist merchandise manager in maintaining a profitable golf merchandising operation
- Assist with development of buying plans and all golf related purchasing
- Assist in the development of necessary systems utilizing POS to safeguard inventories and cash
- Assist head professional in developing enhanced golf instruction programs for all levels.
- Utilize PGA of America player development tools, resources, and materials
Necessary Skills:
- Extensive knowledge of the game of golf
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Excellent leadership skills
- Professional presentation / PGA standards
- Excellent guest service and follow-up skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to work independently
Job Requirements
Required:
- PGA Membership or enrolled in the PGM program
- Must have 2-3 years’ golf operations experience
- Must have 2-3 previous experience managing line level employees
- Must have a valid Driver’s License
- RPOS, Jonas, Microsoft office

- English preferred
