Stone Creek Golf Club is seeking Expo staff to join our F&B.

Pay: $15 an hour

Part-time; 15 to 25 hours per week.

Job purpose

Ensures that orders get to their table as quickly and accurately as possible. The Expo passes customer orders to the kitchen staff; once they're ready, they inspect the dish to confirm that it complies with restaurant food quality standards. The Expo then notifies waiters or waitresses to serve the orders to the appropriate tables. It is their responsibility to ensure a fast and smooth flow of work between the servers and the kitchen. A food expediter must ensure that every service is delivered to the utmost satisfaction of the customers, which begins with ensuring that the restaurant atmosphere is clean and friendly. The Expo position requires a combination of skills, such as strong communication abilities and the ability to get along with a variety of personality types. An empathetic ear, willingness to help and a warm and friendly personality are also a definite plus. Experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment is also essential.

Duties and responsibilities

Ensuring the efficient flow of orders fro mthe servers to the kitchen.

Ensuring orders are being prepared with the correct priority.

Assisting in the final preperation of dishes.

Check dishes before delivery for accuracy, presentation, and temperature.

Deliver orders to maintain fast service.

Eliminate obstacles in service, food preperation line, or dishwashing.

Inspect the premises according to quality and sanitation standards and assist in cleaning.

Transfer important information between the kitchen and the wait staff when a customer has a particular request.

Handle complaints from clients to preserve the restaurant's reputation.

Support other tasks as needed.



Qualifications

High School diploma or GED.

Experience as a food expeditor or other restaurant position preferred

Excellent communication skills

Outstanding multi-tasking abilities

Food handling certification may be required
