*Job Overview* Join our vibrant team as a Pro Shop Staff / Golf Shop Attendant, where you will be the friendly face and helpful guide for our guests on the golf course. This dynamic role combines retail sales, guest services, and event support, ensuring every visitor has an exceptional experience. You will manage shop operations, assist with equipment rentals, and support special events, all while maintaining a safe and welcoming environment. If you thrive in outdoor settings, enjoy engaging with diverse guests, and have a passion for hospitality and sports, this is the perfect opportunity to elevate your career in a lively, fast-paced setting. *Responsibilities* * Greet and check in golfers, collect green and cart fees, and get groups to the first tee on time * Answer phones and book tee times in our golf reservation system * Ring up merchandise, food, and beverage purchases on the POS; handle cash and card payments accurately * Assist guests with questions about rates, course conditions, memberships, and the Players Card program * Restock and straighten merchandise, maintain clean and organized displays, and help with inventory counts * Support tournament and group check-in days * Keep the pro shop, cart staging area, and surrounding spaces clean and presentable * Assist with opening or closing procedures, including register close-out *Qualifications* * Previous experience in retail sales or customer service roles preferred * Knowledge of POS systems and cash handling procedures required * Experience working outdoors or in outdoor work environments is highly desirable * Strong communication skills; comfortable with public speaking or guiding groups * Ability to manage conflict calmly and effectively in high-pressure situations * Strong customer service skills — friendly, patient, and professional with every guest * Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks safely * Experience with event management or hospitality services is a plus * Familiarity with food service or resort environments can be beneficial * Demonstrated ability to work well with children and diverse guest groups * Golf knowledge is a plus, but not required — we will train you * Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus * Must be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the United States Join us in creating memorable experiences for golf enthusiasts while enjoying a lively work environment that values teamwork, safety, and exceptional service.
