We're looking for passionate individuals who love golf, tennis, and pickleball and are eager to share their enthusiasm with kids in grades K-8. Join TGA (Teach, Grow, Achieve) as a Sports Coach for our exciting summer camps! We're looking for passionate individuals who love golf, tennis, and pickleball and are eager to share their enthusiasm with kids in grades K-8. This is an excellent opportunity to impact young athletes while gaining valuable coaching experience positively.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and instruct half-day and full-day sports camps focused on golf, tennis, and pickleball.
- Create a fun and inclusive environment where campers can learn and grow.
- Teach fundamental skills, techniques, and strategies in each sport.
- Organize and supervise activities, games, and drills to engage campers of varying skill levels.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all camp participants at all times.
- Communicate effectively with campers, parents, and fellow staff members.
- Passion for sports and working with children.
- Strong knowledge and experience in golf, tennis, and/or pickleball.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Prior coaching, teaching, or youth work experience preferred.
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Seasonal position: June to August 2024
- Half-day and full-day camp sessions available
