Are you a golf enthusiast looking to build a long-term career within the sports industry? This is an exciting opportunity to join a prestigious private sports club on the south side of Dublin City. Combining front-of-house member engagement, reception duties, sports administration, and golf operations, this role offers excellent exposure to all aspects of club life. Working as a key ambassador for the club, you will play an important role in delivering an exceptional member experience while developing your career within the golf and sports sector. Key Responsibilities Act as the club’s front-of-house ambassador, delivering a warm, professional, and welcoming experience for members, guests, and visitors. Manage the club reception desk and serve as the first point of contact for member enquiries, bookings, competition entries, and daily club activities. Coordinate and administer golf competitions, including competition setup, card checking, score verification, and results management. Communicate with members regarding competitions, tee times, course conditions, and club events. Maintain accurate records, databases, bookings, payments, and sports administration systems. Support the organisation and delivery of member events, competitions, and visiting societies. Assist with day-to-day administrative duties, reporting, financial reconciliations, and general office tasks. Work closely with colleagues across the club to ensure the highest standards of service and member satisfaction. Act as Starter and Course Ranger when required, helping to ensure a first-class golfing experience for members and guests. What We’re Looking For Minimum 3 years’ administration experience. A genuine passion for golf is essential. A golf enthusiast with a strong understanding of the game and a desire to build a career within the golf and sports industry. Experience with golf administration systems such as BRS and Handicap Master is highly desirable. Excellent organisational, communication, and customer service skills. Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a busy environment. Proficient IT and administration skills. A proactive, professional, and team-focused approach. Current permission to work in Ireland. Working Hours This role operates on a roster basis and includes regular weekend work. Candidates must be available to work across the following shift patterns: 7:00am – 3:00pm 3:00pm – 11:00pm Flexibility is essential to meet the operational needs of the club. Why Apply?
