Educational and Experience Requirement Associates degree in a related field. Bachelor’s degree is desirable. Two years of related experience required. A combination of education, experience, and training that would produce the required knowledge and abilities could be considered.
Nature & Purpose of Position Assists in the operation of the golf course maintenance department.
Primary Responsibilities Assists the superintendent in the overall operation of duties. Assists in the supervising, training, delegating, evaluating, and follow up of the performance of all maintenance employees. Responsible for the proper and correct implementation and completion of all assignments given to maintenance employees. Fills in for employees who are absent for any reason. Supports management in seeing that policies and procedures are followed by all maintenance employees. Sees that all jobs are completed by each employee in the least amount of time. Responsible for necessary tools and equipment being picked up and returned by all maintenance employees. Responsible for the proper implementation of all safety rules and regulations by all maintenance employees. Perform other duties as assigned.
Other Specifications Requires basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Golf Course Point of Sale System.
