Power Equipment Solutions is a fast-growing equipment company with locations in Central and Southwest Ohio. Since 1999, PES has been a family-owned company with outstanding growth potential. We are looking for a qualified Golf Car Mechanic/Small Engine Mechanic to join our Springfield location! We specialize in Golf Cars and Utility Vehicles, our main brand is E-Z-GO Golf Cars, E-Z-GO has an extremely well recognized name and offer a premium, Made in USA product.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for repairs and required preventive maintenance of golf carts.
Inspect, troubleshoot, diagnose, and perform maintenance on equipment.
Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
Interpret work orders and technical manuals.
Communicate with the Parts Department to obtain needed parts.
Perform all work as described on repair order with efficiency and accuracy.
Repair or replace defective parts, components, or systems.
Communicate directly with the Service Manager so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Providing an estimate of time needed for additional repairs.
Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
Test repaired equipment for proper performance and to ensure that the work meets our standards.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Requirements:
Ability to work independently and be self-motivated.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid driver license and a good driving history.
Good mechanical and electrical aptitudes, knowledge of electrical/electronic systems.
Good communication skills in both verbal and written.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
