We are currently seeking a skilled Golf Car Mechanic/Small Engine Mechanic to join our Springfield location.
What You’ll Do
- Perform repairs and preventive maintenance on golf carts and utility vehicles.
- Inspect, troubleshoot, and diagnose mechanical and electrical issues.
- Test-drive vehicles and evaluate systems using diagnostic tools and service equipment.
- Review and interpret work orders, technical manuals, and manufacturer guidelines.
- Coordinate with the Parts Department to obtain necessary components.
- Complete repair tasks efficiently, accurately, and to company standards.
- Repair or replace defective parts, components, and systems.
- Communicate clearly with the Service Manager regarding additional repair needs and estimated timelines.
- Complete warranty repair work according to manufacturer specifications.
- Test repaired equipment to verify proper performance.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace.
- Ability to work independently with strong self-motivation.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude, including understanding of electrical/electronic systems.
- Clear communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
