Your Mission

1.Resort & Operations Management

• 
  Lead the overall day-to-day operations of KGTI to ensure smooth, efficient and high-quality service delivery.
• 
  Oversee the management and utilisation of resort facilities, accommodation, recreational areas and other hospitality-related assets within the locale.
• 
  Establish and maintain appropriate operating standards, procedures and service levels across all resort operations.
• 
  Monitor operational performance, service quality, cost effectiveness and overall guest satisfaction.
• 
  Ensure the resort is maintained in a safe, clean, functional and guest-ready condition at all times.

2.Ecotourism & Hospitality Development

• 
  Develop and implement initiatives to position KGTI as an attractive ecotourism and nature-based hospitality destination.
• 
  Leverage the surrounding natural environment and assets to create differentiated guest experiences and relevant tourism offerings.
• 
  Identify opportunities for new hospitality, recreational and ecotourism products, partnerships and activities.
• 
  Stay abreast of emerging trends in ecotourism, experiential hospitality, glamping and nature-based tourism to enhance KGTI's market positioning.
• 
  Build relationships with relevant tourism operators, service providers and external partners to strengthen the resort's offering and visitor experience.

3.Asset & Facilities Management

• 
  Take overall responsibility for the operational readiness, upkeep and appropriate utilisation of resort assets and facilities.
• 
  Coordinate with relevant internal functions and external service providers on maintenance, repairs, utilities and infrastructure requirements.
• 
  Develop and monitor preventive maintenance plans to preserve the condition and value of resort assets.
• 
  Ensure appropriate controls are in place for asset security, usage, maintenance and operational continuity.

4.Commercial & Financial Management

• 
  Develop and manage the resort's operating plans and budget in line with business objectives.
• 
  Monitor revenue, operating costs and overall financial performance, and identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and profitability.
• 
  Explore new revenue streams through hospitality, recreational, ecotourism and related offerings.
• 
  Ensure procurement and engagement of external vendors/service providers are commercially sound and aligned with company requirements.

5.People & Stakeholder Management

• 
  Lead, manage and develop the KGTI operational team to deliver consistent service and operational standards.
• 
  Establish clear roles, responsibilities and performance expectations for the resort team.
• 
  Foster a service-oriented culture focused on guest satisfaction, operational excellence and responsible tourism.
• 
  Work closely with the CEO, Elaeis Gardens (Hospitality), and relevant internal stakeholders on operational, commercial and strategic matters.
• 
  Manage relationships with local communities, tourism stakeholders, service providers and other relevant external parties.

6.Safety, Compliance & Risk Management

• 
  Ensure compliance with applicable statutory, safety, environmental, licensing and hospitality requirements.
• 
  Establish and maintain appropriate health, safety, security and emergency response practices at the resort.
• 
  Identify operational risks and implement appropriate mitigation measures.
• 
  Promote responsible and sustainable tourism practices in the management and development of KGTI

Ideal Candidate

• 
  Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Management, Tourism Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• 
  Professional certification in hospitality, tourism, resort management or related fields would be an advantage.
• 
  Minimum 8–12 years of relevant experience in resort, hospitality, tourism, ecotourism or related operations, including experience in a managerial capacity.
• 
  Proven experience in managing resort, nature-based tourism, luxury/glamping, ecotourism or similar hospitality operations.
• 
  Experience in managing physical assets, facilities and operational infrastructure, preferably in a remote or rural environment.
• 
  Demonstrated experience in developing guest experiences, hospitality offerings, ecotourism activities or related tourism products.
• 
  Experience in budgeting, cost management, vendor management and operational performance monitoring.
• 
  Experience in leading and managing multidisciplinary operational teams.
