Location: Veritas Preparatory Academy
Reports to: Chase Beebe, Athletic Director
Pay: $2,500 stipend for the season
Details:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced coach to lead our High School Varsity Golf Team. As the head coach, you will be responsible for maintaining a positive team culture, building a strong team dynamic, and instilling advanced principles of golf in our players.
Responsibilities:
-Develop and implement comprehensive practice plans
-Plan and conduct regular practice sessions and game-day preparations.
-Coach players on the course during matches, actively managing the team's performance and making adjustments as needed.
-Foster a positive team culture, encouraging teamwork, communication, and sportsmanship.
-Monitor and maintain the academic progress of team members.
Requirements:
-Prior coaching experience
-Strong knowledge of golf fundamentals and strategies
-Ability to motivate and develop student-athletes' skills
-Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
-Ability to work collaboratively with athletic department staff
-Must be available for practices, matches, and tournaments during weekdays and weekends
*Type of fingerprint clearance: Must possess or obtain valid Arizona Department of Public Safety fingerprint clearance card.
