Sandgate Golf Club founded in 1922 is a picturesque 9-hole golf course located on the northern bayside of Brisbane. The club is experiencing growth in membership and visitor participation with over 25,000 rounds played per annum by our 350 strong membership and many visitors. We have an orientation to community, dedicated to service to members and visitors through a flexible team approach involving staff and volunteers.
Being in a financially stable position enables the club to focus on continual improvement of the course and facilities. In collaboration with the Board, the General Manager will drive our continuing ambitions, whilst also managing and overseeing the day-to-day operations of the club.
It is essential that you are a friendly, independent and a motivated person, with good communication and personal skills that match the club’s culture, and diverse stakeholder engagement requirements. You should also have financial management experience including setting and achieving KPI’s, budgeting, cost control and profit generation.
A minimum of three years’ experience as a General/Club Manager or in a senior management role in a Licensed Club environment is sought and tertiary qualifications would be well regarded as to would be a love of the game of golf.
