About us
Cairns Golf Club is the largest and busiest Golf Club in Far North Qld. The Club is a modern facility and has modern values. With over 800 members and 20,000 public users of the facility, no 2 days are the same. The Club is continually growing and evolving with constant improvements in all areas. We have a floodlit Driving Range, air conditioned Clubhouse, 60+ golf carts, 30 staff and 18 holes of awesomeness!

Qualifications & experience
- Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA)
- Retail Sales Experience preferred
- Golf knowledge an advantage but not essential
- Provide a high level of customer service
- Be positive, confident & love working in a small team environment
- Confident telephone Skills
- Knowledge of basic Microsoft programs for email, Word & Excel
- Flexibility with roster availability as we operate 7 days from 6am - 7pm
- Weekend work essential
- Basic use of modern Point of Sale units
Tasks & responsibilities
- Maintain a neat and clean environment in the golf shop (clean counters, shelves and displays)
- Assist with golf cart collection and return to and from the cart shed
- Monitoring Driving Range users
- Maintaining stock levels
- Provide retail services to the Members and public visitors to the Club
- Handle Golf Bookings, for both social and competition play
