Balfour Golf & Recreation is seeking proposals from qualified individuals or groups interested in leasing our Golf Course Food & Beverage operation for the 2024 golf season and beyond.
Our restaurant, the Osprey Mountain Grill, consists of a 161 Food Primary licensed restaurant area including outdoor deck seating, a 29 seat Liquor Primary Licensed Lounge area, front of house bar and point of sale areas and a kitchen including cooking, refrigeration, preparation and clean up areas. In 2022 we built out a "Grab & Go" area within our pro shop to increase ease of access for hungry/thirsty golfers before and during their rounds and to ensure our guests were covered during times when the restaurant might be closed. This addition has proven quite successful and 100% of the sales revenue from this area along with optional use of our golf course beverage cart, are included within our Food & Beverage contract.
While the Golf Industry and the general Balfour area find themselves amidst a strong growth cycle, the timing is right for the right candidate to make their mark at the Balfour Golf Course. Understanding that the Food & Beverage business is rapidly changing, we are open to all type of business proposal. Whether it be your traditional Golf Course restaurant set up or something more 'out of the box', our primary goal is to ensure that our customers leave happy while working to ensure that the contractors operation is successful.
The term of this agreement will coincide with our golf season starting within the first two weeks of April until the close of the golf course in October 2024. The successful candidate will be solely responsible for all Food & Beverage operations throughout the course of our agreement including development and pricing of all menu items, hiring and training of all front of house and kitchen staff, payroll and accounts payable for all F&B staff and product orders, regular daily maintenance of all facilities and equipment, and any other provision agreed upon within our lease arrangement.
All fixed costs such as utilities, refuse collection, security, phone & internet, annual liquor license fees as well as any extraordinary building maintenance, beautification of club house exterior etc. will be the responsibility of Balfour Golf & Recreation.
