About the Wembley Golf Course
Wembley Golf Course is a public golf facility owned and operated by the Town of Cambridge located 10kms from the CBD and 2 kms from City Beach in Perth, WA. The facility encompasses 36 holes, an 80 Bay two storey (automated) day/night driving range including Trackman Range touchscreens on each bay, 18 hole mini golf course, shortgame and coaching areas, WA’s only PGA Centre of Learning & Performance and one of Australia’s biggest pro shops. With over 185,000 rounds per year and over 800,000 visitors to the facility per year Wembley Golf Course is arguably the busiest golf facility in Australia.
The Role
Join the Wembley Golf Course to provide high class maintenance service to its plant and equipment. Part of our dynamic golf course team, you will liaise and collaborate with external stakeholders such as contractors and suppliers on building maintenance and repair arrangements. Responsibilities include maintaining the workshop, tools, managing stock control, ordering parts and ensure adequate supplies for timely repairs and routine maintenance.

Responsibilities include maintaining the workshop, tools, managing stock control, ordering parts and ensure adequate supplies for timely repairs and routine maintenance.
Selection Criteria
- Demonstrated experience in maintenance planning, preventative and reactive maintenance work, utilising a variety of welding, electric, gas and metal fabrication, computer integrated manufacturing techniques, and general engineering skills (drilling, turning, grinding, thread-making etc)
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and apply diagnostic skills to hydraulic mechanical, and auto-electrical systems, and prepare reports of a technical nature.
- Experience working on instruments which make up a control system which utilises a combination of electrical, electronic, mechanical or fluid power principles and electronic circuitry along with various forms or machinery and equipment containing complex analogue and/or digital control systems utilising integrated circuitry.
- Demonstrated organisational and time management skills and the ability to plan, organise and set outcomes.
