We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Parts Associate to join our Springfield team. This role is ideal for someone with strong sales experience who is willing to wear multiple hats and step in to support cart sales when needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional customer service to customers and vendors—sales experience is required
- Assist customers with parts selection, recommendations, and upselling opportunities
- Step in to support cart sales, helping customers with product questions and purchase decisions
- Manage inventory levels to ensure accurate stock and availability
- Perform data entry and maintain the parts inventory system
- Receive, inspect, and organize incoming shipments
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient parts storage area
- Process parts requests from both the service department and customers
- Coordinate with vendors to order necessary parts and supplies
- Collaborate with technicians to identify and source parts for repairs
- Assist with demand planning to ensure availability of critical parts
- Support other departments as needed—this role requires flexibility and a willingness to wear multiple hats
- Proven sales experience required (retail, equipment, automotive, or related fields preferred)
- Previous experience in parts, purchasing, or inventory management is a plus
- Knowledge of equipment repair or mechanical parts is beneficial
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer skills and experience with inventory systems
- Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Forklift certification
