Cart Attendant / Range Attendant Position Overview

The Cart Attendant/Range Attendant plays a key role in delivering an exceptional experience for golfers. This position is responsible for maintaining a clean and organized fleet of golf carts, assisting guests with their bags and equipment, and keeping the driving range stocked, safe, and presentable. The ideal candidate is customer-service oriented, reliable, and enjoys working in an outdoor environment.

Key ResponsibilitiesCart Duties

• Prepare, clean, and stage golf carts for daily use.
• Sanitize and fuel carts as required.
• Monitor cart usage and return process to ensure carts are rotated and stored properly.
• Report any mechanical issues or damage to management promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of cart barn and staging areas.

Range Duties

• Collect range balls using specialized equipment (range picker and/or cart).
• Wash and restock range balls at the hitting areas throughout the day.
• Maintain neat, safe, and organized range stations, including alignment of stalls, mats, and baskets.
• Rotate hitting areas to preserve turf conditions.
• Ensure all range equipment (ball washers, baskets, pickers) is in working order.

Guest Services

• Greet and assist golfers with loading/unloading golf bags.
• Provide clear directions and information about the course facilities and policies.
• Uphold a high standard of customer service, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
• Support other golf operations staff as needed (tournament setup, special events, etc.).

Qualifications

• Friendly, professional demeanor with excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours (early mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays).
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Previous golf course, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred, but not required.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $12.00 - $13.00 per hour
