The Reserve Club in Aiken, SC is excited to announce the exceptional career opportunity of Part-Time Golf Services. Qualified candidates will thrive in a hospitality environment and be highly focused on providing superior service.
Key Responsibilities Of Golf Services
- Assists in the daily execution of member play and member tournaments.
- Assists with outside outings and tournaments.
- Provides sincere and courteous service to all members and guests with items such as bag handling and club cleaning.
- Maintains the cart staging area in a neat and orderly fashion, including the podium and bag drop area.
- Maintains the cart storage area and cart wash down area in a neat, clean and orderly condition.
- Maintains the bag storage area in a neat, clean and orderly condition.
- Prepares golf carts for play at the beginning of the day.
- Prepare, place, retrieve ice towels/coolers on the courses during summer months.
- Washes golf cars at the end of the day.
- Assists in golf car detailing program. Once a month and as needed.
- Assists in educating players regarding course policy, current cart policy, speed of play and other pertinent golf course information.
- Performs range maintenance such as: presenting practice facility with practice balls, bag stands, ball pyramids, and maintains ball inventory over the course of the day.
- Directs start of play when necessary.
- Cleans golfers' clubs upon completion of play.
- Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
- Must be able to safely carry and lift a set of golf clubs and other materials up to 65lbs.
- Performs other duties as required.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with all members and guests. The ability to communicate effectively with all departments of the club and co-workers. Must be available to work occasional Sundays on a rotating basis. Regular and reliable attendance. Weekends and Holidays are a must.
