Penderbrook Golf Club is a picturesque 18-hole par 71 championship golf course located within the highly regarded Penderbrook Community. The course is open to the public and boasts some of the most challenging holes in the metro area.
Penderbrook Golf Club is looking for highly self-motivated individuals with strong interpersonal skills to join our team. Candidates should have strong customer service skills, be able to complete responsibilities without direct supervision, and be able to manage challenging situations. Basic golf knowledge preferred.
Cart/Starter/Ranger Positions
The outside services team is responsible for outside golf operations including but not limited to; starter job responsibilities, cart staff job responsibilities and ranger job responsibilities. Outside services works closely with the golf shop and other outside golf operations staff to provide guests with an excellent level of service.

JOB DUTIES
- Greet and welcome all golfers and assist players as necessary
- Provide quality service to members and guests and conduct oneself in a professional manner.
- Maintain a professional image at all times.
- Maintain proper uniform attire at all times while on duty (includes wearing name badge).
- Ensure Golf facilities are maintained and kept in perfect order throughout the day’s activities.
- Maintain a neat, tidy and well stocked area at all times.
- Observe proper procedures and take precautions to promote safety first and to ensure no injury to staff, members, equipment or property occur at any time due to negligence or over site.
- Maintain radio contact with the Golf Shop and other outside service staff at all times.
- Review and maintain time sheets to anticipate playing time problems, monitor interval times and potential speed of play issues.
- Assist in operation of tournaments and outings.
- Complete daily assignments to meet Club standards.
- Ensure that all golfers adhere to all golf course policies to insure their safety and well-being while playing.
- Ensure golf carts/cart barn are clean and ready for the next day’s operation.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Basic knowledge of the game of golf and golf operations.
- Ability to communicate effectively and courteously with the public.
- Ability to perform a variety of duties including custodial tasks.
- Availability to work a variable work schedule, which may include early and late hours, and weekends and holidays.
Pay: $13.00 - $14.00 per hour
