This is an outside operations position in the golf department at Bass Rocks Golf Club. The primary areas of focus are the bag room, the cart barn and the driving range. The responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to: picking the driving range, cleaning and storing member's golf clubs and managing the golf cart fleet for use by the membership.
This is a front facing, service position with frequent interaction with the membership. Being pleasant, well-groomed and service-oriented is very important in this role. The position requires the ability to work weekdays and weekends though there is flexibility in scheduling. Ideally, we are looking for the position to begin in April and run through the end of the golf season (end of October). The successful candidate should be able to drive a car and must have a valid driver's license. He or she will also be able to lift 50 lbs, as well as reach, bend and ambulate with relative ease and efficiency.
We are looking for both full and part time help; 20-40 hours per week, negotiable. Total compensation consists of wages and tips (tips can be as much as $50 per day). 50% off meals while on duty. Golf knowledge is not required for this position.
