Full job description
Job Description: Outside operations staff member is primarily responsible for providing exceptional customer service to members and guests at the facility by managing golf carts, assisting with bag handling, maintaining the practice areas, and ensuring a smooth overall member experience, often acting as the first point of contact upon arrival at the club.

Responsibilities:

• Greeting and assisting members/guests: Welcoming players at the golf course, providing relevant information, transporting golf bags and directing them to the appropriate areas
• Golf cart management: Cleaning, charging, inspecting, and staging golf carts for use, ensuring they are in proper working order and stocked with necessary supplies
• Bag handling: Assisting players with loading and unloading golf bags onto carts, managing the bag room, and ensuring proper storage of clubs
• Practice Areas: Daily setup/breakdown of the driving range and short game areas including range picking, cleaning range balls, and consistent presentation
• Communication and reporting: Communicating any issues or concerns to the golf professional staff, including cart malfunctions, player requests, or weather concerns
• Seasonal Mid August through Thanksgiving

Required skills and qualifications:

• Excellent customer service skills: Ability to interact with members and guests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Knowledge of golf course etiquette and rules: Understanding of proper golf course procedures and ability to enforce them.
• Physical ability: Ability to lift heavy golf bags and work in various weather conditions.
• Valid driver's license: Necessary for operating golf carts.
• Communication skills: Clear and effective communication with members, staff, and management.
