Job Overview

Myopia Hunt Club, one of the most historic and distinguished private clubs in the country, is seeking a dedicated and service-oriented Outside Golf Operations Attendant to join our exceptional team. In this lively role, you’ll be the friendly face ensuring smooth golf course operations, assisting players, managing event activities, and maintaining a safe and welcoming environment. Your energy and attention to detail will help elevate every guest’s visit, whether they’re enjoying a casual round or participating in a special event. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to combine outdoor work with hospitality, all while fostering a fun and engaging atmosphere.

Responsibilities
  • Greet members and guests warmly and provide exceptional customer service throughout their visit
  • Assist with golf course operations, including golf cart staging area, bag drop, practice facilities, and bag room.
  • Support event management by coordinating activities, managing guest flow, and ensuring smooth execution of tournaments or special events
  • Manage conflict resolution between guests or staff promptly and professionally
  • Conduct outdoor safety inspections, enforce course rules, and maintain cleanliness of the club
  • Perform professional range maintenance, which includes: ensuring practice balls are clean and fully stocked, setting up bag stands and yardage markers, upkeep of practice facilities, and managing ball inventory.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in golf operations, event venue management, hospitality, or outdoor recreation is preferred
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and confidently in public speaking situations
  • Experience working with children is a plus for family-friendly events or programs
  • Knowledge of retail sales, cash processing, POS systems, and basic math for transactions
  • Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting and outdoor work in various weather conditions
  • Skills in conflict management and public speaking to help create engaging guest interactions
