Job Title: Outdoor Golf Attendant
Work Hours: Summer - Full-Time
Wage: $18.00/hour
Anticipated Start Date: To be determined
Location: Blue Mountains, ON
Job Description:

WHAT WILL I BE DOING?

This purpose of this role is to greet guests as they arrive and direct them to the shop in a timely manner. This position sends guests onto the course in accordance with our Pace of Play policy.
  • Greets all guests upon their arrival to Monterra Golf and on their departure.
  • Assists guests with the unloading, loading golf bags in and out of their vehicle and stages bags onto carts.
  • Organizes golf cart staging areas including cleaning and moving carts.
  • Validates guests' tee team over radio communication with the golf shop.
  • Guiding guests to the first tee in a timely manner, keeping track of arrivals, monitoring pace of play, and tracking finishing times.
  • Provides starter speech to all guests prior to beginning their golf round.
  • Stocks golf carts with pencils, scorecards, name cards and keys.
  • Answers customer service requests and guest inquiries.
  • Organizes and stores rental clubs, and wash, refill, organize and park all golf carts for guests.
  • Tows carts, documents damage to carts in the cart logbook and performs routine cart maintenance.
  • Assists with set up and teardown for golf events.

Qualifications: WHAT DO YOU NEED FROM YOU?
  • Drivers License
  • Ability to work days and afternoon shifts
  • Team player
  • Some golf knowledge
  • Able to work on your feet all shift
