Duties
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on electric and gas-powered golf carts, including engine diagnostics, brake repair, suspension work, and electrical system troubleshooting
- Conduct inspections to identify mechanical issues and determine necessary repairs or replacements
- Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, soldering irons, and assembly tools to complete repairs efficiently and safely
- Diagnose automotive problems using advanced diagnostics tools and techniques to ensure accurate repairs
- Assist with vehicle assembly, component replacement, and system upgrades to enhance performance and reliability
- Maintain detailed service records of all repairs performed and parts used for each vehicle
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction during service visits
- Proven experience as a service technician or mechanic, preferably with dealership experience in automotive repair or similar fields
- Strong mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems including engines, brakes, suspensions, electrical wiring, and welding techniques
- Hands-on experience with automotive diagnostics tools and troubleshooting procedures
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, soldering irons, and other mechanical assembly devices safely and effectively
- Physical capability for heavy lifting and performing outdoor work in various weather conditions
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude toward client interactions
- Knowledge of vehicle maintenance best practices and safety standards in automotive repair environments
- Prior experience working with golf carts or small vehicles is a plus but not required; enthusiasm for learning is essential
