You'll diagnose and repair the toughest jobs in the shop, including electrical, lithium battery, controller, and drivetrain issues on golf carts, street-legal LSVs, and electric vehicles. You'll also help develop the technicians around you. It's a great fit for an experienced golf cart, powersports, ATV/UTV, automotive, small engine, or EV technician who wants top-tier work and a clear career path. The shop is an easy commute from Lansdale, North Wales, Souderton, Telford, Harleysville, Montgomeryville, Colmar, Chalfont, Doylestown, Quakertown, Horsham, and Norristown. *About Tigon Golf Carts* Tigon Golf Carts is a fast-growing golf cart dealership with 15 locations and counting, headquartered in Hatfield. We sell and service new, used, and custom golf carts, street-legal LSVs (low-speed vehicles), utility carts, and electric and lithium-powered models. Most of our customers aren't on a golf course: they're homeowners, communities, campgrounds, and businesses. Our standard is simple: _Every Cart Earns Its Stripes._ *Schedule* Full-time, 40+ hours per week. Choose a day shift (7:00 AM–3:30 PM) or evening shift (3:00 PM–11:30 PM). Up to 6 days a week during peak season or for coverage, with advance notice, overtime pay, and a consistent day off each week. *What You'll Do* _Diagnostics & Repair_ * Diagnose and repair complex electrical problems on 48V and 72V systems, including wiring harnesses, controllers, motors, solenoids, chargers, and accessories * Diagnose, service, and install lithium and lead-acid battery systems, including battery management systems (BMS) * Repair and maintain gas-powered carts, including engines, fuel systems, clutches, and drive belts * Service brakes, steering, suspension, and drivetrain components * Install lift kits, wheels and tires, lighting, and accessories, and complete LSV street-legal builds * Read wiring diagrams and use multimeters, scan tools, and controller programming software _Quality & Standards_ * Complete pre-delivery inspections (PDI), road tests, and photo documentation to Tigon standards * Perform final quality checks on completed work before customer handoff * Keep repair orders and labor notes accurate and current in our dealer management system (DMS) * Follow shop safety practices and keep your bay clean and organized _Shop Leadership_ * Serve as the go-to diagnostic resource for other technicians * Mentor and train newer technicians and support the shift lead on difficult jobs * Communicate repair findings clearly to service advisors and, when needed, customers *Requirements* * 5+ years of hands-on mechanic or technician experience (golf cart, powersports, ATV/UTV, automotive, marine, small engine, or equipment) * Strong electrical diagnostic skills, including reading wiring diagrams and using a multimeter * Experience with battery systems, electric motors, or EV components * Ability to work independently, diagnose without supervision, and complete repairs right the first time * Own basic hand tools * Valid driver's license (required for road testing carts) * Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand, bend, and kneel for extended periods, with or without reasonable accommodation *Preferred* * Golf cart experience with Club Car, E-Z-GO, Yamaha, Denago, Evolution, or similar brands * Lithium battery, BMS, or motor controller programming experience * ASE, OEM, or golf cart manufacturer certifications * LSV conversion or street-legal build experience * Experience training or leading other technicians *Pay & Benefits* * $28 – $38 per hour, based on experience * Overtime pay at time-and-a-half over 40 hours * Performance bonus * Health insurance * Paid sick time * Employee discount * [Specialty and diagnostic tools provided] * Career growth with an expanding 15-location dealership group _Related roles: Master Technician, Lead Technician, Golf Cart Technician, Golf Cart Mechanic, EV Technician, Powersports Technician, ATV/UTV Mechanic, Small Engine Mechanic, Automotive Technician, Diesel and Equipment Technician_ _Tigon Golf Carts is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
