The face of New Zealand is changing, and the way people want to engage in sport is changing. It's crucial that golf embraces the future and plans effectively to meet the changing needs of participants. This means not only sustaining what we currently have in terms of grass roots participation but delivering a sport that attracts a new generation of participants who develop a lifelong love of the game. To address our future challenges, Golf New Zealand has set a future strategy that, among other ambitions, has a desire to see an increased positive perception of golf. As the national leadership body, Golf New Zealand needs to set the standard for outstanding marketing communications across our wide stakeholder group.
About the Role:
The core purpose of the role is to lead the creation and delivery of marketing campaigns in support of programmes and other activity targeting our member and casual golfers, district partners and golf clubs. We're looking for an experienced marketing executive who can create and deliver engaging marketing campaigns to enhance the profile and positive perception of golf across the country and meet the needs of our key stakeholders.

Golf New Zealand Korowhā Aotearoa (GOLF NZ) is a not-for-profit incorporated society with charitable status established in 1910 as the governing body for golf in New Zealand responsible for leading, growing and supporting the game. Golf is the most played sport in New Zealand with over half a million Kiwis playing each year at one of the 390 clubs throughout the country.

What you will bring:
- At least 4+ years relevant experience in creating and delivering multi-platform marketing campaigns
- Bachelor Degree in Business, Marketing or Communications or equivalent
- Experience in building and leading marketing plan development and execution.
- Knowledge of the sporting or not-for-profit sector and how it operates.
- Understanding of Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics, and Google Ad Manager
- Experience of effectively using SEO and SEM to drive engagement.
- Experience in effectively leveraging paid v organic social media content to drive engagement.
- A keen interest in all aspects of golf
- Is energetic, highly motivated, enthusiastic and considerate.
