Full job description
Position Summary:
Sells, coordinates and facilitates group golf events and outings. Schedules and plans events, coordinating with hotel sales, conference services and banquet planners, as well as outside event planners, associations and corporate clients. Coordinates event functions of all affected departments. Issues proposals and contracts for groups; tracks event payments coordinating with accounting staff to ensure billing arrangements are in conformance with company requirements. Coordinates with merchandise manager to maximize sales, prizes and awards, gift certificates, and other goods or services to group events. Submits monthly and annual reports indicating the efficiency of operation, including pace of play, guest satisfaction, and staff performance.
Job Duties:
Base Pay Range: $65,900.00 - $76,800.00
Actual placement within this range may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location.

Job Duties:

- Maximizes sales of merchandise and prizes
- Executing operations of all events.
- Must possess valid California driver's license in order to run outside errands for the department. Ability to type.
- Minimum of five years experience at a high-end golf facility with two years in group golf event sales or management
- Google Apps experience a plus.
- Demonstrate initiative, personal awareness, professionalism, positive attitude, and integrity; exercise a high quality of customer service and leadership in all areas of performance.
- Project a professional image and demeanor.
- Understand, apply, and comply with all company policies and procedures.
- Strong leadership, problem solving and written and verbal skills with the ability to communicate effectively in English. Ability to follow directions. Good sense of direction, outgoing personality and professional appearance and manner. Personable and comfortable with public speaking. Dependable, flexible, and detail oriented. Courteous, team player and diplomatic. Solid math and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of the rules of golf.
