What you'll do:
As a Duty Manager, you’ll be the heartbeat of daily operations, ensuring every member and guest has an exceptional experience. You will:
Lead and support your team across all areas of the clubhouse.
Manage daily activities including gaming (TAB, KENO & gaming machines), food & beverage, and events.
Take ownership of wages, cash handling, and budget compliance.
Work closely with the Events Coordinator to deliver seamless functions.
Build strong relationships with members, staff, and guests.
Champion compliance across OLGR, WHS, and AML/CTF requirements.
Create a safe, fun, and professional environment for staff and customers alike.
Drive service standards and handle any customer issues with confidence and care.
Mentor, train, and develop your team – setting them up for success.
You’re more than a manager – you’re a leader who brings out the best in people. You’ll be successful in this role if you have:
Proven experience in a high-volume hospitality or club venue.
Strong knowledge of TAB, KENO & gaming machines (essential).
Confidence with cash management and security procedures.
A knack for handling challenges calmly and professionally.
Solid knowledge of workplace health & safety.
A hands-on, can-do approach – you lead from the front.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
