Located in Carrara on the Gold Coast, the Emerald Lakes Golf Club is a 165-acre property and is a leader in both the Golf and Leisure Industries. We currently have an exciting opportunity for a positive, professional, motivated, hands-on Duty Manager to join our team.
Duty Manager responsibilities for this high-volume venue include overseeing daily operations of all aspects of the club, ensuring employee productivity, monitoring efficiency of all processes and creating a positive work environment.
Main Duties
This position is ideal for someone who is hands on, has worked in a high volume venue, has a strong knowledge of food and beverage operations and has a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role. High standards of customer service are essential for this role. This person needs to possess a strong management presence, be extremely professional and a team player. You will be passionate about the companies’ goals, maintaining policies and take pride in the delivery of your work and continually setting high standards for the Club and your peers.

Main Duties
- Reporting to the Operations Manager daily.
- Management of daily clubhouse activities including all gaming facilities (strong knowledge of TAB, KENO & POKIE Machines a MUST, promotions etc.
- Management of wages and adhering to budgeted targets
- Liaise with events co-ordinator & help manage food and beverage events.
- Management of all staff and service delivery.
- Responsible for cash management and securities.
- Develop strong and productive relationships with members, customers & staff.
- Ensure compliance with legislation's and regulations for OLGR, WHS and AML/CTF.
- Workplace Health & Safety responsibilities.
- Handle all customer queries and grievances.
- Uphold and enforce company policies.
- Ongoing training of team members including new recruits

Essential Requirements
- Previous management experience in a similar role.
- Able to work weekends and nights.
- RSA, RSG, RMLV competency are essential.
- Effective time management and organisational skills.
- Must possess strong communication skills.
- Immaculate personal presentation.
- Proven ability in managing, developing and guiding staff.
- Experience in managing all areas of a club, including Food, Bar & Gaming
