Purpose and Scope of Position :
The Fleet Manager works closely with the Course Maintenance Superintendents and the Assistant Golf Course Superintendents to ensure the maintenance, operation and management of all the Golf Course Equipment across the Clubs.
Adept at implementing security procedures and identifying safety risks. Focused on applying operational knowledge of vehicle maintenance problem solving and adhering to industry regulations.

Purpose and Scope of Position :
The Fleet Manager works closely with the Course Maintenance Superintendents and the Assistant Golf Course Superintendents to ensure the maintenance, operation and management of all the Golf Course Equipment across the Clubs.
Adept at implementing security procedures and identifying safety risks. Focused on applying operational knowledge of vehicle maintenance problem solving and adhering to industry regulations.
Job responsibilities :
- All Mechanics across the Clubs.
- All golf course equipment related repairs and maintenance which include but are not limited to : equipment set up, equipment performance and quality control, preventive maintenance and documentation, general repairs and documentation.
- All Club Car vehicles, with preventive maintenance and repairs documentation.
- Cleanliness and organizational characteristics in relation to tool and part storage, as well as maintaining clean and safe ISO certified workshops at all times.
- Will have full working knowledge for each piece of equipment, it purpose on the golf course, and the reasons for its use on the golf course.
- Work with Superintendents and Storekeepers regarding all parts ordering, parts stocking, parts replacement and all related documentation.
- Responsible for the grounds budget equipment repair line item, working with Superintendents to keep expenses to an acceptable level while maintaining high quality.
- Work with Superintendents on yearly capital expenditure requirements.
- Responsible for selecting the right vehicles / fleet, ensuring the maintenance are in good operating condition in order for the company to meet its distribution objectives efficiently and cost-effectively
- Assist with consultancy work on other sites as required.
- Demonstrate a positive working attitude at all times and adopt whatever it takes to get the job done right attitude.
- Ability to develop and maintain an accurate record-keeping system
- Especially adept at cost-effective preventative maintenance measures
- Exceptional communication skills to management and his co-workers.
- 2 years experience in a similar position at a reputed Golf Course.
- Diploma holder in Equipment Maintenance or golf course maintenance.
- Extensive training in Fleet / Vehicle management
