We now have an opportunity available for a full-time Pool - Maintenance and Grounds Attendant to supervise our Country Club area during the summer months. Hours of work will be approx. 12 – 8pm Tuesday to Saturday. At the end of the summer months, this position may become permanent and join our Maintenance or Gardening crew (pending successful probation period) and revert to working days, commencing at 6am.

Duties will include:
POOL
- Supervise the pool areas to ensure the safety and comfort of all users
- Greet users coming into the pool area and conduct checks on eligibility to ensure they are members, registered guest or staff
- Adhere to and enforce company policies and procedures
- Maintain the cleanliness of the pool using a variety of pool cleaning equipment
- Maintain the cleanliness of the surrounding areas including rubbish pick up and removal and tidy and placement of outside furniture
- Check pool water and chemical levels
- Maintain cleanliness and safety of Pump Room
GARDENS AND SURROUNDS
- Development and maintenance of the gardens and grounds
- Daily performance of gardening tasks including mowing, pruning, hedging, mulching
- Operation and maintenance of a wide range of horticultural equipment
BUILDING MAINTENANCE
- General building maintenance and repairs of our amenities block and storage area including cleaning, painting, plumbing
Essential
- Pleasant and friendly personality
- Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to liaise well with a wide range of pool users
- Ability to confidently handle conflict situations regarding use of entry requirements, in a professional and positive manner
- Excellent presentation and personal grooming standards
- Ability to work unsupervised and stay on task, work to a schedule and prioritise tasks
- Physically fit and capable of sustained walking, standing/ lifting and operating a range of equipment
- Available to work the days and times listed above
