The Locker Room Attendant is responsible for ensuring a clean, organized, and welcoming environment in the men’s and/or women’s locker room facilities. This role focuses on providing high-quality service to members and guests by maintaining locker room cleanliness, preparing lockers, assisting with shoes and towels, and supporting the daily operations of the golf club.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Greet all members and guests warmly and professionally upon entering the locker room, creating a welcoming and respectful environment at all times.
• Maintain a pristine, well-organized appearance of all locker room areas, including restrooms, showers, lounge spaces, and lockers.
• Provide premium shoe services, including cleaning and polishing, with attention to detail and prompt turnaround.
• Distribute, monitor, and manage towels, toiletries, and locker room amenities, ensuring consistent availability and presentation.
• Prepare, assign, and manage lockers efficiently for members, guests, and tournament players, ensuring personalized and seamless service.
• Conduct regular inventory checks of supplies and restock as necessary (e.g., soaps, shampoos, shaving kits, grooming products, etc.).
• Address member and guest requests or inquiries promptly, courteously, and with a solution-oriented mindset.
• Proactively report any maintenance issues, equipment malfunctions, or facility damage to management for immediate attention.
• Support club events, member tournaments, and outside outings by ensuring the locker room is fully prepared, stocked, and staffed.
• Clean and maintain the on-course pavilions (comfort stations) to the same high standard as the clubhouse facilities, ensuring cleanliness, tidiness, and full stock of amenities.
• Assist the Golf Operations team as directed by the Head of Golf, including during busy periods or special events, to ensure seamless service across departments.
• Uphold the highest standards of personal hygiene, grooming, and professional appearance as a representative of the club.
• Maintain confidentiality, professionalism, and discretion in all member and guest interactions.
WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENT
• Work performed primarily indoors in locker room and restroom areas.
• Frequent interaction with members and guests in a private club environment.
• Standing, walking, bending, and lifting required throughout shift.
• Occasional lifting (e.g., golf bags, laundry bins, supplies).
• Exposure to cleaning agents and laundry equipment.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
