Maintains an adequate supply of golf balls in the appropriate size range baskets for distribution to patrons. This includes retrieval, washing and loading dispensing machines. Performs a variety of miscellaneous laboring duties to support the successful operation of the facility. Cleans golf course equipment i.e. mowers and utility vehicles, and ensures equipment is fueled, aligned, and put away. Ensures power and pull carts are washed and cleaned, fueled (when applicable), and aligned. Cuts cups, relocates tee makers, hand rakes sand traps, fills & repairs ball washers, replaces tee towels, etc. Collects trash and empties garbage and ash cans. Loads and unloads boxes and cartons and stacks them when needed. Using a shovel, fills holes with dirt and levels bumps and low places, using shovel, hand tamper, and rake. Runs hand lawnmowers or (domestic type) powered lawn mowers & powered sand rakes, when it does not require heavy physical effort; clears trees and bushes, using handsaw, hatchet or clippers. Uses string trimmers for various weed & grass trimming projects throughout the facility. Practical knowledge of golf activities and equipment is desired but not required. Must be able to use, control, and clean common hand tools and simple power equipment. Must be able to follow oral and/or written instructions involving duties with several distinct tasks or steps. Must be physically able to frequently lift and carry medium and heavy objects up to 40 pounds and be able to occasionally lift and carry objects up to 50 pounds. Must be able to actively bend, stoop, reach, and work in awkward positions.EducationSome federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. This position does not allow for education substitution.FOREIGN EDUCATION: Education completed in foreign colleges or universities may be used to meet the requirements. You must show proof the education credentials have been deemed to be at least equivalent to that gained in conventional U.S. education program. - This position requires the incumbent to complete a background investigation with favorable results.
- This position requires the incumbent to complete a pre-employment physical.

- The duties of this position require the incumbent to possess or obtain and maintain a valid state Driver's License in one of the 50 U.S. states or possessions to operate vehicles.
