Junior Golf Leader at Lansdowne Golf Academy – Leesburg, Virginia
About the Facility: The Golf Club at Lansdowne offers a level of service that is unmatched by other area clubs. As part of a prestigious resort property the level of amenity is high end but the atmosphere is comfortable. All members of the family will find plenty to enjoy at Lansdowne.
About the Position: This full time position assists in the day-to-day operations of the Lansdowne Golf Academy (LGA) and all LGA Instructors.
Ideal candidates will have a strong desire to succeed and have a high level of motivation. The Junior Golf Leader will provide support in marketing, events, scheduling, program development, junior camps, overnight golf schools, business golf events, and club-fitting. Ideal candidate will be a self-starter and be extremely driven. Candidate may be required to attend periodic meetings throughout the club to properly represent the Golf Academy in club activities. Successful candidate will possess all of the tools necessary for growing a book of business as an instructor. BEING A TEAM PLAYER IS A MUST!
The core job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Instruction
Complete LGA Instruction certification process to include, Club-Fitting, Private Instruction, etc.
Assist in the delivery of Junior Golf programs including PGA Junior League, Operation 36, and Summer Camps.
Lead the delivery of Ladies Academy programs including Operation 36(Ladies), and WGA Social Activities.
Assist DOI when scheduled in Golf Schools, Club-Fitting, Group Lessons, and Corporate Events.
Inside/Administrative Operations
Possess strong communication skills between Academy and Operation team.
Answering the phone and checking guests in for reservations of lessons with Uschedule platform.
Sell and promote Junior Programs, Ladies Programs, Golf Schools and Private Lessons for all Instructors.
Promotion of the business and marketing LGA through emails, phone calls, meetings, social media.
Provide additional administrative support to Director of Instruction and professional staff as assigned.
Playing privledges, resort privledges, discounted meal program, clothing allowance, vendor staff agreement.
