Duties
- Assist lead instructors in delivering age-appropriate golf lessons and activities to children of various skill levels
- Support campers in practicing golf techniques, ensuring proper form and safety at all times
- Help supervise campers during outdoor activities, breaks, and meal times to maintain a safe and positive environment
- Manage classroom behavior using effective behavior management strategies to promote respect and cooperation among participants
- Support the setup and cleanup of equipment and activity areas to keep the camp organized and inviting
- Provide first aid assistance when necessary, following safety protocols to address minor injuries or health concerns
- Foster a fun, inclusive atmosphere by encouraging teamwork, sportsmanship, and positive social interactions among campers
- Prior experience working with children or in a childcare setting such as daycare, summer camp, or tutoring is highly desirable
- Knowledge of golf fundamentals or willingness to learn basic coaching techniques
- Strong classroom management skills to guide groups effectively and maintain discipline
- Certification in first aid and CPR (or willingness to obtain prior to camp start)
- Experience in sports coaching, babysitting, or theater is a plus for engaging young participants creatively
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and stand for extended periods
- Excellent communication skills with a positive attitude focused on child development and safety
Pay: $23.00 - $27.50 per hour
