About the Wembley Golf Course
Wembley Golf Course is a public golf facility owned and operated by the Town of Cambridge located 10kms from the CBD and 2 kms from City Beach in Perth, WA. The facility encompasses 36 holes, an 80 Bay two storey (automated) day/night driving range including Trackman Range touchscreens on each bay, 18 hole mini golf course, shortgame and coaching areas, Wembley Golf Custom Studio, restaurant and bar and one of Australia’s biggest pro shops. With over 195,000 rounds per year and over 800,000 visitors to the facility per year, Wembley Golf Course is arguably the busiest golf facility in Australia.
The Role
Join the team at Wembley Golf Course and help deliver a welcoming and enjoyable experience for our patrons. As a Junior Assistant for Outside Services, you will support the day-to-day operations of the Buggy Shed, Driving Range and Mini-Golf, while providing friendly and responsive customer service to patrons. Duties will include assisting with golf cart and equipment hire, supporting Mini-Golf operations and undertaking general customer service activities. This is an entry-level opportunity with guidance and support readily available from experienced team members, the Outside Services Supervisor and Operations Manager.

Eligibility
*Employees under the age of 20 years shall be paid a percentage of the minimum rate of Grade 1, in accordance with the Town of Cambridge Employee’s Collective Agreement 2025.

Selection Criteria
Sound communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy, organisation, time management, planning, and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of and enthusiasm for the game of golf is highly desirable.
Previous experience in a customer service environment is desirable.
Knowledge of golfing equipment including electric golf carts would be an advantage.
First Aid training or qualifications (desirable).
Eligibility
Australian working rights.
National Police Clearance (no older than 3 months).
