Are you a landscape professional who takes pride in seeing a project through from the first seedling to the final mow?
We are looking for a dedicated team member who wants more than just a "mow and go" job.In this role, you won’t just be following a checklist; you’ll be an integral part of the team responsible for the first impression and the final putt. We’re looking for someone to own the aesthetic vision of our flower beds while becoming a core player in our daily course operations. Primary Responsibilities
Horticulture & Aesthetics (50%)Take Ownership: Design and maintain seasonal flower beds and entryway displays that set the tone for the entire club experience.Curate the Landscape: Select and care for hardy, high-impact plant species, ensuring vibrant color and health throughout the Missouri growing season.Be the Expert: Manage pruning, weeding, and specialized fertilization for all ornamental areas surrounding the clubhouse and course.
Course Operations & Integration (50%)Master the Course: Work alongside the grounds crew to perform essential daily setups, including pin placements and tee box rotations.Precision Detailing: Maintain the playability of the course through bunker care, debris management, and equipment operation.Collaborate & Innovate: Interface directly with the Superintendent and Greens Committee to provide input on long-term aesthetic improvements and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
The "Hybrid" Mindset: A passion for plant science combined with a "roll-up-your-sleeves" attitude toward turf operations.
Technical Skill: Experience with landscape design and a solid understanding of plant ID. Familiarity with commercial turf equipment is highly preferred.
The Early Bird: Ability to thrive in morning shifts to ensure the course is pristine before the first tee time.
Reliability: A commitment to the standards required by a premier golf facility.
