Outstanding Golf and Networking in Metro Detroit
Offering exceptional golf, dining, and networking in Dearborn, TPC Michiganwas opened in 1990 as an ultra-exclusive private club on land donated by Ford Motor Company, located two miles from Ford World Headquarters.
The Club provides Members and guests with a masterfully designed, superbly landscaped and expertly maintained course that offers a thoroughly enjoyable experience for golfers of all skill levels. We also offer full on-site catering services and corporate golf outing facilities for groups of all sizes.
Jack Nicklaus Signature Design
Working with the beautiful natural environment, Jack Nicklaus designed TPC Michigan as a challenging and beautiful signature layout. The centerpiece of the golf experience at TPC Michigan is our masterfully designed, superbly landscaped and expertly maintained 18-hole championship course that offers an enjoyable experience for golfers of all skill levels. The beautiful course, which presents a challenging links-style layout and winds through natural wetlands and rolling hills, hosted the Ford Senior Players Championship for 16 years, welcoming such legends as Arnold Palmer, ChiChi Rodriguez and Gary Player.
Awards and Recognition
Our course was the first ever to receive the James Audubon Environmental Steward Award for ecological restoration, in addition to being the 12th Audubon Certified Golf Course in the world and the first in Michigan. It was a 16-time Host to PGA and Senior PGA tour events, a 12-time Top 100 Golf Shop and opened as a Top 10 Golf Course in Michigan.
Job Summary
The Head Golf Pro is responsible for promoting the game of golf through operational structure and programming that provides a "first class" environment for Members and guests. The Head Golf Pro develops all golf operations department budgets including forecasts to see that all financial goals are met.

Compensation
Salary: $80k-$90k
Lesson Commissions: $3k-$5k+
Other Commissions: 10% Base Bonus Potential

Day-to-Day
- Responsible for all golf operations at the Club, including, golf carts, bag room, locker room, golf shop, special tournaments, and Member/Guest events.
- Responsible for hiring, training, and developing all staff.
- Acute understanding of the critical role that Membership and exceeding expectations play regarding the success of the operation.
- Develop aggressive Golf revenue sales, marketing, and net revenue plans.
- Direct successful implementations by following established Invited budgeting and revenue guidelines.
- College degree preferred.
- PGA/LPGA Profession Certification completion.
- Proven track record of team management, organizational and coaching skills.
- Comprehensive knowledge of expense control as it relates to payroll and the forecasting and budgeting of expenses.
- Experience with tee sheets and inventory systems.
- Diplomatic team player able to foster relationships with Members, Employee Partners and Guests.
