Overview

Grass Clippings Rolling Hills is seeking a Head Golf Professional to lead an experience-driven golf operation centered on community, nightlife, tournaments, live events, and hospitality. This role oversees the full golf operation and is responsible for guest satisfaction, financial performance, and the overall execution and energy of the golf experience. The position works closely with the General Manager and collaborates with Food & Beverage, Events, and Agronomy to deliver a dynamic, hospitality-first environment.

Experience Required


  • Class A PGA or LPGA Professional recommended.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Passion for hospitality and guest experience in high-volume golf operations.
  • Forward-thinking mindset and creative problem-solving abilities.
  • Organizational skills to manage a full-scope operation profitably and efficiently.
  • Experience with or willingness to learn GolfNow, Premier POS, and Golf Genius.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Knowledge of budgeting and reporting.
  • Knowledge of inventory and purchasing controls.
  • Understanding of accounts payable/receivable workflows.
  • Experience with team scheduling and operational systems.
Essential Responsibilities

  • Direct and oversee all aspects of golf operations, including relationships between guests, associates, and the community.
  • Maintain responsibility for guest satisfaction, financial performance, and the overall golf experience.
  • Run the full golf operation, including budgets, revenue goals, financial reporting, hiring, scheduling, performance management, merchandising, and training.
  • Lead golf operations, guest experience, team leadership, programming and events, revenue and budget management, tournament operations, Toptracer activations, and cross-department collaboration.
  • Build a golf experience that encourages repeat visits.
  • Create energy on the range.
  • Develop leagues and tournaments.
  • Lead an engaged, hospitality-first team.
  • Drive innovation while maintaining operational excellence.
  • Grow the game through culture and creativity.
  • Develop programming including men's and women's leagues, Toptracer competitions, prize events, demo days, instruction programming, and club championships.
  • Support events such as 3-Club Challenges, couples tournaments, seasonal and themed events, and year-round community engagement.
