*Rock Creek Resort *is seeking a *Head Golf Professional* to lead daily golf operations, develop the golf staff, and build strong relationships with members and guests. Located on the Texas shores of Lake Texoma, Rock Creek is a private resort community spanning more than 1,300 acres. Amenities include a Nicklaus Design golf course, clubhouse, restaurant, golf shop, marina, and fitness center. This position offers the opportunity to shape the golf experience through instruction, member events, and the day-to-day leadership of the golf operation. The Head Golf Professional will work closely with the General Manager, Golf Course Superintendent, and other department heads. Responsibilities * Hire, train, schedule, and develop golf shop and outside services staff. * Manage daily golf operations, including tee times, practice facilities, and outside services. * Plan and conduct tournaments, leagues, clinics, and individual and group instruction. * Build relationships with members and guests and respond to their needs. * Oversee golf shop purchasing, inventory, pricing, and merchandise presentation. * Assist with the annual golf operations budget, maintain accurate financial records, and manage costs. Qualifications * [Confirm minimum credential: PGA Associate Level 3 required; Class A PGA Professional preferred.] * Demonstrated leadership and customer service experience. * Working knowledge of golf operations, the Rules of Golf, handicapping, and tournament administration. * Strong communication and organizational skills. * Familiarity with golf shop point-of-sale, tee time, and handicapping systems. * Availability to work weekends, holidays, and club events. Previous golf management experience, particularly in a private club, is preferred, along with experience in instruction, tournament programming, and merchandising.
