About the role
Bellingen Golf Club, home to around 120 members and a bustling 9-hole (10-green) riverside course. New owners Mosey On Inn Group have already invested heavily in the clubhouse - the course is next, with exciting improvement and capital works on the horizon. With our long-serving Head Greenkeeper retiring later this year, this is a rare opportunity to take ownership of a much-loved community course.
We're seeking an experienced Head Greenkeeper / Superintendent to lead the presentation, maintenance and development of our course.
A hands-on leadership position combining daily turf management with planning, reporting and leadership. You'll work to deliver high-quality playing surfaces while driving longer-term course improvements with the team.
A competitive remuneration package will be offered, tailored to the successful candidates experience and skill set.

Key responsibilities
Oversee and carry out day-to-day maintenance of greens, tees, fairways, bunkers and surrounds
Plan and coordinate maintenance programs and staff rosters
Lead, support and work hands-on with the ground crew
Operate and manage irrigation systems, machinery and equipment
Contribute to course renovation and capital works projects
Ensure WHS and environmental compliance
Liaise with management, staff and members on course conditions and works
Preferred experience: Certificate III+ in Sports Turf Management / Greenkeeping
Proven golf course maintenance experience, ideally in a leadership role
Strong knowledge of turf management, irrigation and course conditioning
Hands-on, team-oriented leadership style
Physically fit, with strong organisational and communication skills
Willing to work a rotating weekend roster across 7-day operations
